I did not see this mentioned but I'm noticing what seems to be about a 10% price increase for 2026 model Wranglers. Plenty of 2025s on dealer lots, however.

That's standard. New model years always come with a price bump, especially with inflation. Dealers are trying to move the '25s first. If you want a better deal, buy the leftover '25.
Finding a leftover that you want is the problem, hence was looking at the $$ damage to go to a 2026. Dealers don't seem to be in a hurry to move 2025s around here. Just the standard 2-4K discounts. Nothing special yet. Perhaps by the end of the month. Delivery by end of month + end of quarter often brings very good deals.
Looking back on the half dozen Jeeps I bought locally, I think you are right about that. I got $20k off a $50K RAM 1500 once due to the dealer needing one more delivery to meet a quarterly quota. Best on Jeeps was via the affiliate discount. Better to be lucky.
