24 Wrangler Manual Transmission issue

I bought my 24 Wrangler Sport S 4X4 in Oct 24. It had 22 miles on it. On the way home from dealer the "Service Transmission" message came up. Took it into service dept, they couldn't find anything' Message was off by then. Said most likely a loose wire, if it happens again bring it back. within the next week it came on again but went off before getting to dealer, this keeps happening randomly. taken it to dealer and each time the message is not on and of course nothing found amiss. now at 10,000 miles just so happened right near the dealer when it came on, took it in they kept it overnight and when I went to pick it up they said in was the way i drive causing clutch to heat up. Drive more carefully to avoid overheating the clutch. I'm not a new manual transmission driver and know how to use a clutch. Had a Toyota 4x4 manual for 4 years never a problem. Even if it were my usage, when do i believe the warning to Service transmission? Has anyone else had issues with manual trans? I know several people with similar year and models but all auto transmissions. My thoughts are there was a problem to start with as driving from dealer when new it came on, not enough "abuse" in 26 miles to cause the issue unless something not right to start with. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

disagree with your statement
"not enough "abuse" in 26 miles to cause the issue unless something not right to start with"

except very briefly when shifting gears clutch pedal always full up or full down and no significant time between, and never use the clutch pedal as a foot rest

in just a couple miles you can destroy a clutch with heat no 20 miles needed

I had a 428 69 mustang stolen from my driveway middle of repair work before I installed the the clutch pedal spring that helps push pedal last 15% upward and helps push pedal down once at least 50 percent down and that was one stiff clutch pedal that without spring stayed down about 10% and the thief drove it less than 2 miles before he had to abandon it with a burnt up clutch so I know one can heat up a clutch in way under 20 miles.

when wife first got her rubicon 2004 she was turning it around in driveway over using partial clutch to smooth out motion and I could smell the clutch _ that was almost no distance, I told her full up or full down and she stopped overheating clutch and has had no further problems.

With friction of partially engaged clutch heat builds up real quick does not take even one mile to overheat

Though these seem to have way more issue with clutches since the JL came out. They were literally burning to the ground with a clutch fires. ended up in many so called fixes( all software) then a recall from the feds. Funny how a clutch that only needs to hold 286 hp goes up in flames?

I have a XCH chevy in a camaro with a ROD six manual. As hard as i was on the car from track OCIR or was long ago street. Over the many decades of use burnt clutches never burnt the car down....Now it does have a scatter shield that is NHRA approved .25 plate encased clutch and flywheel custom housing. If that fly wheel comes apart at 7,000 rpm as heavy as it is would rip legs off eating its way through a car. But BURN down from a clutch? what they make the clutch pack with Magnesium? LOL please dont say i am right......

Best clutch i have had for the XCH is Kevlar pads tended to get 10 years. Metalic work well too but is hard on a flywheel pads dont wear the fly does. Organic clutches never held up well at best a year. Not from slipping it but just will start to slip pulling hard in second or third. these are all single plate too...Jeeps is dual? They can not hold 285hp with a dual plate. Jeeps has lost it way......Jls came out frames were falling apart. literally. 3.6 basket case, manual they forgot how to do that as well.

where is hear sensor in this clutch or is it in the housing? Transmission is not overheating. Why dont it say you are burning the clutch up?????????If its a clutch issue ....Automatics can overheat. to overheat a stick would take like 200mph runs at constant speed and load. But at that point everything is heating up........

I have a 2024 Jeep wrangler sport 4 door manual transmission. At 1.5 years old and 16,000 miles my service transmission light came on. When i took it to the dealership they said it just needed a software update. I drove it for 2 weeks and the light came back on. When i took it to the dealership for a second time they said the jeep wasn't giving them any codes and just reset the light. I drove it for a few more weeks and the light came on a third time. I took it to the dealership and they said i needed a new clutch because i was driving it wrong. i've had a manual transmission jeep wrangler for 20 years, i know how to drive it. They wanted $2,500 for a new clutch. I said no way should a 1.5 year old with only 16,500 miles need new parts. I had it towed to a different dealership and they worked with STAR and the fix was put a new PCM in and told me the clutch was starting to slip and I would eventually need to pay for a new one. I took it home and drove it for less than 24 hours and the service transmission light came back on for the 4th time in 2.5 months. Their only solution is another new PCM. Anyone having better luck with getting this issue fixed by Jeep? IM not paying for a new clutch/pressure plate on a brand-new vehicle.
