OKAY. I MADE A THINGIVERSE ACCOUNT WHERE I WILL UPLOAD ANY 3D FILES IN .STEP and .STL.
If you got parts that I should make: Tell me and I will make a list. Please keep in mind I am working full time and also need time to work on my car as well as having some hobbies, so it may take a few weeks until YOUR desired part is/has been made.

Until now I got those:
GRAND CHEROKEE Door Side lettering - DONE!
HOOD VENT Underside - Next up
HOOD VENT Upside - Will be made together with the Underside
RADIO Adapter piece, either blank, with a Phone/sotrage tray, or for some aftermarket Radios(1DIN) - Coming within the next 5 Weeks
ATC Linkages - Depends on what it is and how much effort goes into making them. Maybe within 2-3 Weeks?
....

I don't know which ones you mean. Please send a picture or a description so I can go and take a look at it on my ZJ's
It looks like Id have to mostly disassemble my dash to get to them but if I get down in the footwell of the driver side and i look in the small gap between the floor and the center stack I can see a couple plastic linkages that try and move with the mode selection. Ill try and get a pic or 2 tonight.

@98JZLaredo4.0 , while we are at it we should 3dprint a few of the rarer pieces for ZJ's... like the 5spd shift boot plastic piece that snaps into the console, power window blank covers for 93-95, power door lock blank covers for 93-95... hell lets print a whole mini console from 93 ZJ's.
Unfortunately i cant make a modell from something i cannot measure off from. And since i dont own a 5speed ZJ, the shifter boot is a rather low priority... with good picutres from all sides and some additional information, i am sure i can make one... but i cannot if i only have the AUomatic shifters laying around

The E-fan you mean?

Atm im making the side labelling:
"GRAND CHEROKEE (5.9 Limited)...
Then I will go for a more cooling oriented lower Vent piece, the original ones seem useless since they only bring hot air from the side of the hood to them, instead of taking actual engine air directly...
yup, efan shroud

@98JZLaredo4.0 dang, that would require me to disassemble mine and I am scared to death to do that since mine looks great except one of the "tangs" that hold it to the console is missing. the leather is attached with fabric staples which I can see when I flip it over.

what measurements do you need?? I can flip it over and get measurements.

I can also send a pic from the 94 parts book that shows the shifter boot plate. NEVERMIND, IT SHOWS THE PLASTIC PIECE AND THE LEATHER ARE 1 UNIT UNLIKE AN XJ.

Make pictures from the side(Passenger and Driver), Straight from the top in Neutral, And if you find some pjctures online from how it is mounted…
Try to put a ruler or something as a size referemce on every picture…

yeah, the leather is covering mine. Like I said it is in good condition so I can only take pics of the bottom where it snaps into the console. Cant see much really.

It attaches the same way an automatic one does, except it is slightly smaller to compensate for the leather that is wrapped around it. The bottom has 4 "tangs" (just like the auto one) that hold it to the console. I can see little holes all round where the staples hold the leather to the inside lip. Ill get measurements of opening and height.

I have always though that I probably could cut down an auto one to "make" a 5 speed boot cover, the only difference would be that it would be flat which the 5 speed one is raised around the whole outside of it.

You know it almost has the same shape of like how an XJ one is but is the shape of the ZJ console. Nevermind. no it doesnt.

This is great - thanks for doing this. Are you planning to partition the models so they can be printed on a smaller bed? I personally have a 300x300mm print bed (many folks have even smaller print beds) but I suspect the hood vents would exceed these dimensions. Thus, I guess getting them printed commercially would be required (or get a new printer...)

Alright! First thing is uploaded... currently as .step only, I will now print and test out how it looks then upload the final version as .step , .stl. and some pictures with it... next up I will go for the AX15 bezel frame and probably for the Vent-underside

Didnt see the latest answers until now... yes i will make them fit a 200x200x200 printer, but also keep them one pieced, since i upload .step, you could also edit the modell yourself...

Can you print them vertically instead of horizontally?
Good Idea since 90% of printers have more print height, but printing would require a bit of support for good bed adhesion, and also the stability of the whole part would suffer, because the layers are the weak point and all layers being rather thin but wide means it would probably crack during installation on the hood or from cold hot stress. Ridicolous that these Hood vents are being secured by 6 big screws... overkill...but at least you dont run the risk of messing up a thread and having the whole piece loose...

I haven't any personal experience, but some of the stuff I watch on YouTube has a lot of info about 3D printing, and vertical seems to be the way to go. Yes, you need supports, but that's not a big deal and is very common. One of these days I'll get my hands on one and start playing around. They have gotten so affordable these days, but that still takes away from the car parts budget.

I own 3 Prusa MK3+ and a Prusa CL with all 5 Heads… i first got my hands on 3d Printing back in 2011… believe me, 90° vertical isnt a good idea…horizontal neither, since you would see the layers due to it being rather flat… but the rigidity would be drasticaly higher… best would be a 60-70° angle from horizontal, this way, it would create a bigger layer surface and still look decent, may require some Support for a good base, but the upper 80% could be printed without supports, which by the way always mean sanding will be necessary… unless you go raw look…
Layer adhesion is a big factor when it comes to orienting a piece that has to take certain stresses. PLA is just not quite the best material when it comes to strength… because its hard and limes to crack, imagine the layers being small grooves in metal, thats where cracks will atart first and easiest when load is put on it.
Nylon or TPU are great at layer adhesion when temp is right… if its to low, you get an accordeon/accordion?….
