banjo fitting - copper washers

I am replacing the left front brake caliper on my CJ7 and have a question about the copper washers that fit between the banjo bolt, banjo fitting, and caliper. I noticed that the copper washers I have have a flat side and a slightly rounded side. Does it make any difference in how you orient the washer? Should the flat side or the rounded side of the washer go towards the banjo fitting? Or doesn't make a difference how you install the washer?

I always use new or newly annealed washers as they work harden and sometimes don't seal on repeated use

It's always been my understanding, a washer's flat, and that "sharper edge" should go toward the mounting surface, and the slight round etc side....to the bolt head side.

Rounded side to the bolt head and caliper body, flat to the banjo on the end of the brake line.

I work with hydraulics daily and as Fourtrail pointed out, is the correct orientation.
