I have a 4inch lift and i run a tcase drop and im far from having my slip yoke slip out. each person has a different issue when it comes to the driveshaft. basicly comes down to throwing the lift in and messuring

I have put 2 kits on 2 different jeeps, One was a 4.0 the other a 2.5. Neither needed the SYE. BUT I also installed a 8.8 in at the same time, which if you are going to wheel the Jeep or install larger tires is a good thing.
I measured the drive shaft pull out and mine was only out about 1/2 inch more than stock. Which is just fine.

I am also running the rough country 4" with stock drive shafts. The rear drive shaft is not even at an extreme angle. No vibrations either. Time will tell I guess. I do plan on a Dana 300 swap in the future.

one thing with the tj driveshaft... make sure the shop you get it done at will balance it.

if you do it yourself without balancing your risking vibes. vibes contribute to u-joint failure and yoke leaks.

ask me how i know lol

blue one is gone but that guy is selling it now, for half of what he paid for it lol... black one is like a child to me. an illegitimate bastard son of the devil.
