Fuel Injector issue

My 2003 Grand Cherokee,just stopped running as i was driving recently.I towed it home and the code reader gave me P0442,P0445,P1763(no dtc),and P1762(no dtc).I am getting fuel to the rail,but tested injector #1,and it had no power.Could it be just replacing the ASD relay? Thank you,for any help.

P0442 and P0445 are emissions codes, could be just a leaky gas cap. P1762 and P1763 are transmission codes relating to governor pressure. None of these would cause your "WJ" (not FSJ) to stop running. If it has the 4.0 six cylinder, it is likely the Crank Position Sensor (CPS). They don't always throw codes and it's a common problem.

If you have a 4.0 I-6, carefully check the fuel injector wiring harness; follow it from the front of the valve cover to the rear of the engine....There is a cylinder head stud/bolt head at the very back of the engine (drivers side behind valve cover) this stud/bolt head rubs through the harness, short circuits the wires and causes rough idle, bucking, misfires, hesitation and random codes. The symptoms sometimes begin after the engine is hot or has been running on the highway for awhile, and often come and go...It will take more than just a quick visual inspection....If the harness is resting upon this stud (or near it for that matter), if you don't allready have this problem eventually you will. I repaired the wire, wrapped the entire in harness in nylon loom, and put piece of vacuum hose over that stud...problems solved...

I had the exact same problem with my 04 WJ I was getting a missfire on #6 and #5 turns out it was the wiring harness where it goes around the valve cover, the last stud rubs on it and it chewed through a few wires shorting them out, i taped it up and stuck a piece of hose on the stud to prevent any future problems.

I was going out of my damn mind chasing that issue. Turns out the same stud put a hole in the harness and was causing shorts. I put something over the stud and went for an hour long test drive. I had no problems at all and it ran flawlessly and idled perfectly.

I changed the plugs and installed a new coil rail hoping that would fix the misfire/idling problem. I'm glad this is resolved I was ready to start replacing sensors.
