Do you want it to look offroad or street?

Wheels and tires are the #1 way to change the look of a vehicle. Suspension height is right up there also, be it up or down.

Less is more. Don't go buying all the chrome stuff from JC Whitney like an old man.

 

What direction do you want to take this is? Off-Road or Street? As Caulk said, i would do suspension first. You'll notice a difference immediately! Up if off-roading, or down is streeting. Just my 2 cents, if i had a 2wd Jeep, i'd take it in the speed/street direction.

I'd definitely be going up with the suspension, not down. But it would still be mostly for looks and the occasional mild off-road use. What kind of lift would you suggest? Also thinking about adding a rook rack (that would actually be put to good use)

 

I personally think the OME MD would be a good choice for what you're looking for.. and all sorts of racks out there. Just look around, ask member Kolak on this forum for help. He'll be a wizard for you
