I'm in the middle of my T18 swap in my CJ7 and I just cleaned off my T5 bellhousing that I drilled and tapped, and I noticed one or two cracks in the bellhousing. I can see the crack on the inside and outside of the bellhousing. It is not spread open or anything, but more like a hairline fracture. Is is nothing to worry about or is it repairable or should I get a new bellhousing?

Not ideal, but I was in a pinch and had a professional welder stitch up a hairline crack that went from the engine toward the transmission. The crack I had repaired was not across top bellhousing bolts like the one in the link posted above. It has worked fine for 3 years behind a 360. I plan on replacing it when I get a chance.
