Title kinda says it all. Woke up to fine my beloved TJ covered in a mix of white and blue spray paint (got the RV too). I have the feeling the insurance is going to take forever and I have a wheeling trip planned for sunday, so I was wondering if anyone had any quick removals of the paint off my Jeep. Besides the body and hood, paint got on the fenderflares, hard top, and hardtop windows. Now im not going to let alittle paint slow me down from offroading, but i'd like to get this paint of my windows !

Thanks guys

Home Depot sells some stuff called "Goof Off". There are several formulas, depending on what you are trying to remove. Go to the paint department, you'll find it near all of the solvents and thinners.

WD40 should do the trick....

It might just do that.

I don't let that stuff in my shop, it's too often misused and causes more problems than it's worth. Not to mention that it's the most flammable substance found in any hardware or Home Depot type store.

Oh and if you think this looks bad, remeber that i have already taken off the toliet paper, and pudding off my windows

Right now im thinking whoever Tp'd my house was seperate from whoever spray painted

(Ohh and just my luck: two years ago someone threw a full bottle of gateraid through my old cars back window)

The Rv was being used today for my parents camping trip . . . otherwise its in storage . . Guhh but hey, thing could be worse. Atleast i still have her, and nothing is broken or stolen . . . just her pride lol

I just want to say good job coming across so calmly. I'm very friendly and mellow, but if I ever caught someone messing with my Jeep there'd be hell to pay.

It's nice to see you're not taking your anger out on something else.

Sigh its becoming a mystery for scooby doo . . At first I thought my girlfriend and her friends did the toliet paper, cause it was nicely done and nothing was damaged (And they left my dads lifted rubicon alone heheh) and that some kids must of went by, saw the Toliet paper and decided to try out their art skills. However now i find out that she didnt do it, so now the whole things just a mess. I'm trying to stop walking in circles saying "well if i had that viper alarm installed early I would of known (atleast when they threw pudding) or "if only i had been out that night". Oh well whats done is done, im sure I'll get hell on the trail but its part of the fun I guess. All of my offroad pictures will need to be taken either after the mud bath or from the other side. Insurance will proably cover a repaint, im just worried about my hardtop. Guess I'll check back in a week and tell ya how the fixes are going. For now looks like im taking the motorcycle to work today

As for what the Rv says all i can make out is "Scraping" and something "Bay" I guess their trying to talk about the Bay Area and E-40 lyrics (If u don't know him, just let it go haha) Basically ur average kid talk wround here

Ohh and if i ever find out who did this, you better believe i will be attaching a tow hook to their bumper/wing and Pulling! But i'm sure i never will

Okay well im happy to report that with a bottle of Goo Gone and two familly members we were able to remove every last spec of paint off the Rv and the Jeep. Thanks for the idea guys, and today might just turn out to be good after all !

Good job on removing it. I would set up some sort of camera or something... if I were you, I would be A LOT more angry. I'd probably be sitting in the backseat of a police car actually. Good job on remaining calm.
