I have wanted to do this conversion for a while. I purchased the brackets from Polly performance and the 2 x 12"shocks from FOA. I have the front springs and shocks converted to coil over and will start on the back soon. The jeep had 3" lift to start (sagged out to 2"). The 250x14 and 275x10 on the front resulted in 3" with adjustment up 5" of lift over stock. This made the jeep level again. I now have about 10" total wheel travel. 5" of up travel and 5" of drop from the parked position. Rides great.

The instructions with the shocks and springs were pretty poor so if you see anything that I have done wrong, please let me know.

The reasons I chose a coil over.

The cost was about the same as short arm lift and shocks. $2000.00
Wanted a lift that would not spit out coil springs.
Wanted as much travel as I could get with as little as 3" of lift
Fully adjustable and can change the lift height
Burnt out a pair of stock shocks at Moab in the 100 deg heat
Want the jeep to ride as smooth as possible.
Tired of the wife complaining about the ride.
The guys in Moab on coil overs were defiantly getting down the wash board roads faster.
Wanted to be a little different than everyone else.

I like it. I was close to doing this same thing. Then I figures out my stock CA mounts were shot. Then it all went down hill, or up hill fast.

If you would of went with the triple rate, keeps the springs set. Trying to think of the correct word.

On your brake lines. I under stand the stock ones to be strong. If you have the travel you need I would leave them. I think I will go back to them when I finish my build.

Hoping my COs arrive next week.
