Who knows a little about automatic transmission?

First time diving into the my Torque Fleet 999. We are looking at the front end of the transmission to transfer case adapter housing. The area pointed out accepts the “parking rod” (?). When putting this back together are there any special assembly considerations so that I still have PARK ? And what’s a good source for that rear seal? Thanks.

This topic shows my 46RH rebuild for my ZJ Jeep.

On mine, the park rod was very loosely constrained, one end connected to a lever on the valve body rooster comb, the other end poked through some large casting holes to permit pushing on a lever waaay in the back.

IMO, nowadays seals are a dice roll. Get a name brand if possible. Many of the seals on mine were not name brand and they worked fine throughout my ownership. There were three big online shops selling transmission parts during my rebuild. My speculation is that Amazon would have everything you need now.
