ZJ Maintenance & Repair Parts? Anyone Have a Good List?

I've been stocking up on basic maintenance and repair parts for a while.

It seems like it's going to get more difficult to find quality parts for our old Jeeps, either new or used; and the prices are insane.

I was looking for a Mopar cap and rotor; $50 for the rotor and $40 for the cap...

Any recommendations on old Jeep prepping?!

I don't know if you're considering a complete tuneup with cap/rotor/plugs/coil and ignition wires but if you are, I have my Kolak Ignition available. A lot of people here on the forum have my kit. I use Magnecor KV85 8.5mm wires in my kit and they last forever. I have a 5.9 and have them on mine for 20 years now and they're still like new. If you'd like some information please PM me here on the forum or email me at kolak@aol.com

Accel is still great quality for caps and rotors and so are the WVE/NGK brass terminal cap/rotor. Standard doesn't seem to be available anymore, at least with brass terminals.

For “repair parts”, it would be good to have a stash of parts that are prone to breakage, but can’t be bought new anymore. ZJ’s are definitely not getting more prevalent at the JY’s. Headlight adjusters, grab handles, sun visor clips, VIC, door cladding clips, AC vents, etc. and, for your 98, the giant 3454NA front turn signal bulbs.

I've been pulling glass every once in a while at my local yards when its in good shape and I have the extra time at a yard. No idea how hard it would be to get glass replaced from a glass shop (i.e. Safelite) so figure why not. I've pulled the rear flip glass, rear doors, and one side panel (right one I think) so far.
