I understand completely. We have a paper mill locally and even tho I made my living there for 21 yrs, I still watch for the trucks. Those guys get paid by the load , so safety is not job one.

I drove to the hardware store today. While the engine was running in the parking lot. Some guy is saying something to me. I can't hear what he's saying with my motor running. He comes nearer and yells you wanna sell your jeep. I yell back, what?. He yells again " did I fu--in stutter?" I turn the motor off and yell back "FU_K NO". Then he calmed down. And we we had a friendly chat. People are so rude.

I put it on the charger this morning and drove it to Taylor’s soccer game this evening. First time it was out of the garage in a month, I think. Man, it felt good. As we pulled into a parking space, an elder guy sitting in his car gave us a smile and a head-nod. People just like CJs.

AMC, circa 1984...theyre OEM, albeit patched and repaired, but still 85% original. 😁👍

There is someone out there that makes new seat upholstery, high quality, that mimics this look...someone will chime in with that info Im sure.

Mornin’ all! Another beautiful morning. Currently 68*. Going for a high of 86. Maybe a little light rain next week. YAY! Birds are really twitterpated this morning. Love is in the air. 🥰
Marcie made a huge bowl of jer Chinese chicken salad for dinner last night. Shredded chicken breast, shredded cabbage, sliced almonds, green onion, crushed ramen noodles, maybe some other stuff, and a sesame dressing. We ate almost the entire bowl! (Well. I did anyway). Might have the rest for breakfast. @KDub1984CJ7: We have 5 different Cars and Coffee meets within about 10 miles of me but I can’t seem to ever get my butt up and moving or motivated enough to go. I’ve been to two in the last 10 or so years. Nathan’s baseball game is at 3 today. He won a pitching contest at practice yesterday so he gets to pitch the first inning today. This will be the first time I get to see him pitch in person. Yesterday I got some pruning done in the back yard, spread a little bark around, repaired and moved some landscaping lights, just a puttzing day. (I like those kind of days). That’s all for now, you all be happy, healthy and safe, but most of all post pictures of what y’all are doing! Lots of pictures!

@KDub1984CJ7: We have 5 different Cars and Coffee meets within about 10 miles of me but I can’t seem to ever get my butt up and moving or motivated enough to go. I’ve been to two in the last 10 or so years.

Sometimes hard to get motivated, I get it, easy this AM for me as I was dropping off oldest for band rehearsal just down the street!

I tried to readjust my alternator so the bracket would stand straight. Its a little better but still off. Some but still a little but at a time. Also looked for signs of a gas smell but not sure where its coming from.

Been collecting pieces needed to put her back on the road after our misadventure in West Virginia this past January. Taking the opportunity to finally put those 3.54 gears in, at least in the rear.

Agear, if the belts align … simply get the appropriate spacer and a longer bolt for the bottom bolt mount of the bracket. Everything will stay the same but your bracket will result in being perpendicular. 👍🏻
